SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30: The Taste of St. Hubert Harvest
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: One of the great opportunities we have in our parish is to spend time in the presence of the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration. From 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each Tuesday, the Eucharist is exposed in the chapel for quiet prayer and adoration.


RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: The Religious Ed Student/Parent Meeting will be held this Wednesday, September 13. All parents and students should meet in Church at their respective class times.
Next Sunday, September 17, is Catechetical Sunday. At all of our weekend Masses we will celebrate our Religious Ed Catechists and volunteers by blessing them and thanking them for their dedication to the Religious Education program. When you see them, please take a minute to thank them for all that they do.
Religious Ed for High School Seniors: The first meeting of Religious Ed for High School Seniors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 at St. Pius X in Glencoe. Fr. Tony will meet with any interested seniors 4-5 times throughout the year and those attending on Wednesday night will be able to pick the topics to be discussed. If any senior would like to

THE CHURCH OF ST. PIUS X
will be hosting a Life Line Screening event on

October 2, 2017.
Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart disease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis. St. John Paul II AFC members will be able to register before the general public and are asked to register for a Wellness Package which includes 4 vascular tests and osteoporosis screening from $149 ($139 with our member discount).

                              FALL BAZAAR October 1st

In 2 short weeks our Bazaar will be here! Please pick up your
Bazaar envelope from the table in the back of Church if you haven’t
already done so
.
Tent Set-up will be on Thursday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m. Many
hands make light work – we welcome anyone who is available to
come and help!

Bingo Chair Person(s) Needed: If you are willing to volunteer,
please contact Lori at the parish office

Flyers for the Fall Bazaar can be found on the tables in the back of
Church. Please stop by and take a few with you to hang up on your
travels!
Donations for the All-Cash Raffle are being accepted through the
end of September and can be dropped off or mailed in to the parish
office or placed in the Sunday collection in an envelope marked
“Raffle Donation.” Please make checks payable to Church of the
Holy Family.
Miniature/Small Pumpkins are needed for the pumpkin coloring at
the Kid’s Games. They can be dropped off by the metal shed on
Saturday, September 30 if you have any to donate.
Donations and Prizes: Thank you to those that have already made
donations for prizes and the Country Store – keep ‘em coming!
Containers are located in the Church lower level on the table inside
the north entrance. Please remember that items for Bingo and
Children’s Games should be new and unopened.
