Catholics Come Home Website
Catholics Come Home is an evangelization campaign to welcome „lost? Catholics back into the church as well as to strengthen the faith of our faithful and help them spread Catholicism. Bishop LeVoir and the Diocese of New Ulm support the campaign.
ROSARY SOCIETY: The founder of the Confraternity is St. Dominic, who at the request of the Blessed Virgin, introduced and established the prayer of the Most Holy Rosary. Each member in good standing of the Holy Rosary Confraternity share in the prayers, good works and Masses of the society throughout the world. Each member gains extraordinary Indulgences, applicable to the souls in purgatory. The Rosary Society invites men & women of the parish to join the confraternity and share in the abundance of graces. Dues are only $3.00 per year, meetings are four times per year and we hold a bake sale on Palm Sunday with the money going towards altar needs.

To join, contact Celia Knoll at the parish office 320-327-2356.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE: The Councils of Catholic Women in our three parishes are sponsoring a Thanksgiving collection of food items for the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf. Food shelf collection boxes for non-perishable food items will be available at the entrances to the Church of the Holy Family, a table for items will be in the new gathering space at the Church of the Holy Trinity and bins will be in the gathering area at St. Pius X through Thanksgiving. Monetary donations are also welcome and may be placed in an envelope marked “Food Shelf” and dropped in the Sunday collection or at parish offices. Checks should be made out to McLeod Emergency Food Shelf. Let us help feed our hungry neighbors.
TRAVELING CHALICE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for families to participate in the Traveling Chalice Prayer for Vocations ministry of our parish. You would take the travelling chalice into your home for a week on a scheduled basis. There is a chalice and a booklet where you and your family will find specific prayers for each day and you may add your own prayers for vocations. Please contact Celia Knoll at the parish office 327-2356 or cell 320-583-1320.

YOU ARE INVITED through the month of November to write the names of your deceased friends and family in the Book of the Dead located in the front of the church next to the votive candles, and we will remember them in prayer.
ADVENT BEGINS NEXT SUNDAY: In preparation for the
beginning of Advent next Sunday you received both the “Word
Among Us” for Advent and a study guide for the Sunday readings of
Advent. Our hope is that these two resources will help you observe
this season well and to prepare for the coming of the Lord.

Catholic Charities offers individual and family
counseling services in locations around the diocese. They also work
with people interested in adoption. To make an appointment or learn
more about Catholic Charities’ services call 1-866-670-5163.
CHRISTMAS GIVING PROJECT: Our three parishes will be
participating in the McLeod County Christmas giving program this
year. If you would like to participate please bring a new toy or gift
for children up to 17 years old and leave them in the boxes at the
door at Holy Family, in the new gathering area at Holy Trinity and in
the gathering area at St. Pius X. In this season of generosity let us be
generous with those in need. The deadline for giving is December 8
when we must deliver the gifts to the distribution center.
