HFCS students have shifted gears ~ they are moving forward to the Spring season.
They have completed the Winter Art Show with great success! The students are ready to amaze you
at the Spring Art Show the evening of Thursday, May 5th.
Please mark your calendars for this great event!
Kindergarteners making Noah's Ark: they painted paper plates and then made a pocket & filled it with stuffed animals.
Kindergarteners painted under tables to simulate how Michaelangelo had to paint the
ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
3rd & 4th graders used plastic canvas and made a rainbow. Then they stitched yarn throughout the canvas and added beads.
This project tool a lot of time, but the students loved the final results.
The rainbow symbolizes God's promise to us.
The 3rd & 4th graders found a new way to display their rainbows. It may be silly, but it worked!
The 1st & 2nd graders made 3D art out of felt and paper plates. The final look was a bluebird with a next of blue eggs.
