1st Grade

As the month of January and Catholic Schools Week comes to a close, I want to tell you about the things we have going on in February.

The month of February is also known as "I Love To Read Month". To celebrate we would like to invite you to be a guest reader in our classroom sometime during the month. We are willing to be very flexible with the time so choose one that works best for you. We will also be doing some "D.E.A.R." time (which means drop everything and read!) throughout the month.

February is also Dental Health Month so we will be talking about ways to keep our mouths healthy and our smiles lovely! Speaking of "lovely", we will be celebrating Valentine's Day on the 15th of the month. Since we are rollerskating on the 12th, we will only have a small celebration to exchange Valentines.

Our 100th day of school is on the 17th of the month (barring any more weather related no school days). More information will follow as the day approaches.
